Sleeve accumulators are primarily used to bridge the sleeve roll changeover time. During this time, the applicator draws the sleeve material from the accumulator so that production can continue. Sleeve accumulators provide exactly the balance you need for an uninterrupted production process. They take up sleeves when downstream processes come to a brief standstill and release them again in a controlled manner as soon as the line continues to run.
